Aaron Penning is the Owner of Contego Training LLC and has been involved with public safety and firearms instruction for over 20 years. His professional experience includes service in the United States Marine Corps, service as a Federal Agent with the Air Marshal Service after 9/11, Law Enforcement in Southern California and current Law Enforcement officer in Southern Minnesota. Penning has worked with multiple government agencies providing firearms safety and tactical training for military and Law Enforcement professionals. Penning is also an NRA instructor and certified in firearms, refuse to be a victim and personal protection courses. In 2013, Contego Training LLC. was created to provide firearms safety training and personal protection training in accordance with the MN Personal Protection Act.
