At Contego Training, it's not just about teaching an individual how to shoot a firearm, the information included in our class will also educate our students on how to avoid physical danger and legal trouble. While both Aaron and Shamus are excellent firearms instructors, they also have extensive knowledge and experience regarding legal issues while using a firearm and de-escalation techniques.
Time and time again, we hear countless stories of students taking a permit to carry class from an underqualified instructor without any real-life experience in which the class watches generic internet videos, shoots a BB gun and receives a certificate. With Contego Training, you will participate in an interactive learning classroom environment and then qualify for your certificate by shooting a supplied pistol.
Aaron and Shamus are both current Law Enforcement Officers and Marine Corps Veterans with real-world experience. On a regular basis, they are facing individuals that utilize their firearm safely and legally for self-defense and also individuals who choose not to use their firearm in that manner, which then leads to extensive legal trouble.
